Dear friends,

 The Albuquerque Latin Dance Festival (ABQ LDF)  is coming up fast and you must see all the exciting workshops that will be offered.  The variety includes salsa all styles, flamenco, bachata and much more.  Make sure you attend and take advantage of the opportunity to improve your dancing by adding styles, new turn patterns, leading and following techniques or simply by dancing with people you have never danced before.

On another note, Milagro is having salsa dancing again with DJ Leo.  This time the atmosphere is much better.  The dance floor is bigger and the staff’s attitude is way friendlier than before.   Plus DJ Leo plays fun Latin Music.  And he is very accommodating to the dancers’ requests.  I attended the last two gigs and enjoyed them very much.  

Both Milagro and Corazon are very confortable places to do rueda (El Dorado too)  The first has a big dance floor and not many dancers have been attending yet.  At Corazon, the trick is to get there earlier when there are not many dancers, around 9:00 or 9:30pm  So now you know the secret.

This week, Nosotros is a Corazon on Thursday, Father Pretto is at El Dorado on Friday and Savor on Saturday.  Changui Son plays in Albuquerque on Saturday at The Salsa Tasting Festival, 1:00 – 5:00pm at the Old Town Plaza.

Finally, Soncomoson will play at the ABQ Salsa Under The Stars this Friday at 7:00pm
